Day 95: Christmas Rush

In the bustle of getting ready for Christmas Eve tomorrow, cleaning the house, wrapping gifts, working on my Christmas Eve worship service, cooking dinner....I sat down to finally read the Bible before bed and my mind was still spinning from the rush of it all. What I read today did not grab me.

But I actually can't say that I wasn't really thinking about God today...I probably could have more, I always can more...but I was thinking more about the Christmas story than what I read today.

Glory in the Highest...Jesus has been born to us. A Savior has been born to us.

I pray God that You would shape my heart and mind and soul to be more and more Christlike. May I yearn more and more urgently to sing loudly before Your throne among all my brothers and sisters.
